About Scroll & Dove Ministries

Scroll and Dove Ministries is a ministry that is designed to bring the old and the new together. The Scroll representing the Torah and the Dove representing the Ruach HaKodesh(holy spirit). Our ministry is one that is designed by YHWH to help facilitate the merging of those 2 aspects of our faith. There is a beauty and a peace that is found there that is truly amazing. It is only within the merger of the Torah, our ketubah (marriage contract) or our Adonai (Master/Lord) and the Ruach HaKodesh that we truly find what it means to be a believer and follower of YHWH Elohim and Yeshua HaMashiach. Christianity claims to want to be “like Jesus”. If you truly want to be like the Messiah you must live and walk as he lived and walked. And that was in the ways of the Torah and with the infilling of the Ruach. It is our desire to help facilitate this among believers. Both those already within the Hebraic Awakening or movement as they call it, and those who just starting to feel the stirring of something more then what is taught from the pulpit. Scroll and Dove Ministries is run by the husband and wife team, Justin and Jacqueline Herrick.

Justin Herrick

Justin serves as the President of Scroll and Dove Ministries. Justin was born in Southeast Iowa, where he grew up. Justin was raised within a Pentecostal church where he was mentored by a caring youth pastor, whose mentorship and discipleship played a huge role in who Justin is today. It was this individual who first awoke in him the desire and passion to study out the Hebraic Roots of our faith. Justin received his license as a pastor through Holy Spirit Ministries, a non-denominational ministry that he attended, and served as Associate and Youth Pastor when he began his search into the Hebraic Roots. Justin has been studying the Hebraic Roots for several years. He currently serves as the teacher for Spirit of Praise Fellowship, a Hebrew Roots Fellowship in Independence, IA. In addition to his ministry work, Justin is also a teacher's aid/youth counselor at Four Oaks, a residential treatment facility for juvenile delinquents. Justin currently resides in Northeast Iowa with his beautiful wife, 3 daughters, 1 son, and 2 dogs.

Jacqueline Herrick

Jacqueline serves as the Treasurer and Manager of Scroll and Dove Ministries. Jacqueline was born in St. Cloud, Minnesota and was raised in a suburb of the Twin Cities. Jacqueline was raised in a United Methodist church, but was encouraged by her pastor to begin attending a Pentecostal church with Justin. Justin and Jacqueline were married in an Open Bible Church. For years before really knowing about the Hebrew Roots movements and beginning to keep Torah, Jacqueline's faith had undergone many changes and growths that were the small steps leading to Torah observance. Like Justin, Jacqueline received her pastoral license through Holy Spirit Ministries. She served by his side as youth pastor. She is currently the children's minister for Spirit of Praise Fellowship and assists in worship leadership. Jacqueline is also a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom. Jacqueline currently resides in Northeast Iowa with her husband, Justin, 3 daughters, 1 son, and 2 dogs.
